Welcome to Cristiano's Young Life profile. Its purpose is to give a unique insight into Cristiano's character and potential including his strengths and weaknesses, talents and qualities, needs and desires. It will help guide Cristiano through the minefield of choices and decisions which lie ahead on his individual journey through life.

* Between the first two sections, which deal essentially with father and mother there is a short section on 'The Dominant Parent'. We do not try to come to a definitive conclusion here but tradition states that the father is externally dominant and the mother is emotionally, or internally, dominant. Make your own decision as to which parent fits the bill best.
2. Emotional and Feeling Nature - this shows how the more passive and sensitive side of Cristiano's nature is likely to develop and also comments on the nature of the relationship with his mother.
3. At this point we look more directly at the Relationship Between Cristiano and his Mother.
4. Face and Persona - this is a description of Cristiano's physical nature; and also his general approach to the world; the way he sees it; and the way he likes to be seen. For instance, does he wear rose-tinted glasses or does he view the world from behind dark glasses?

Chapter 1 - Laying Down Foundations - Essential Character
The Sun signifies our inner sense of identity, and our will. It is the single most important planet in our birth chart and generally describes what we are seeking to become through the journey of life, or perhaps our 'destiny'.
Free Thinker
Sun in Aquarius
'Freedom' - particularly freedom of thought - will be of vital importance to Cristiano. He will find it difficult, perhaps even impossible to channel his thoughts into a predetermined mould, and will have to blaze his own trail through life.
His Sun sign, Aquarius, is ruled by Uranus, a planet associated with electricity, and Cristiano's thought processes will have an electric quality to them, often arcing from one concept to another with no apparent link or common ground. Uranus is also associated with technological advancement and inventiveness and, both in school and the workplace Cristiano should do well in the scientific field, and electronic media in particular.
Technology will hold no fears for him, and his cool, logical mind will find pleasure in dissecting the workings of gadgets and machines - so send for Cristiano when you need to programme the video!
When it comes to relationships, he will be as detached and impersonal as he is in everything else. Emotionally independent, some would say 'dispassionate', he will prefer light and easy companionships to heavy, torrid one-to-one relationships. And when he does decide to 'settle down', which won't be very 'settled' in the generally accepted sense of the word, he'll be inclined to view his partner as more of a very close friend than an object of blind, unreasoning passion.
It may help - when trying to understand this child - to know that his Sun sign's ruler, Uranus, is also the planet of rebellion, the unorthodox and eccentricity.
Uranus is a planet of original and revolutionary expression. However, when allied to the thought processes of Air - the element of Aquarius, you will find in Cristiano nothing more dangerous than intellectual revolution - the concept of rebellion, but not the deed. - Phew! That's a relief - you can breathe easily again!
Rebellion remains a concept because Aquarius is a detached, impartial and impersonal sign, with little emotional appreciation.
For instance, Cristiano will support the 'underdog' because the underdog is being treated unfairly, and not because he identifies with its suffering and feels its pain. He will always maintain a strictly impersonal and clinically objective viewpoint on life. His ideals and ethics may not be readily understood or appreciated, but he will uphold them with great energy and sincerity.
A broad-minded and tolerant humanitarian and probably an environmentalist too, he will have stubbornly-held views on the problems that beset mankind, and an answer - which may be idealistic rather than practical - for most of them.

His tendencies to social and political reform come partly from his idealistic and liberal mind, and partly from his ability to awaken others to their full potential.
These attributes come from the idealistic and egalitarian nature of his Aquarian Sun, and his originality springs from his Sun's ruler, Uranus. It is astrologically apt, then, that one empowered to show the way to the masses, should nevertheless himself march to a different tune!

Emotional conflicts, dominate Cristiano's life whenever he attempts to express himself. It's as if he doesn't know what role to play with others or you, whether to adapt to the present situation and give a conditioned response or to be himself and say or do what he really wants. Therefore, he will experience tension and frustration in all his relationships, which may be difficult for him to resolve, clinging to one person one moment and pushing them away the next.
Basically Cristiano will be very ambivalent both in his feelings and his outward actions, which can be quite confusing for those around him. Remaining steady in the face of such possibly contradictory way of behaving will prove very helpful in the long run.

His main fault is a tendency to become petulant and childish, even when he grows up! if he is ignored, or thwarted in any way. He is naturally creative, with instinctive leadership qualities, and the ability to make people feel 'special'.

He will always be very sensitive to the 'invisible forces' of life and see more than others, although he may not openly speak about his abilities. Cristiano is likely to be secretive and guarded about his emotions. In close personal relationships he will seek intensity and a strong level of sharing. There will be no half measures in his emotional life.

Emotional difficulties arise for Cristiano, which inhibit conversation and learning. He feels more than he thinks and is not able to express what is happening so he will tend to worry and become emotionally frustrated. He may well have things completely out of proportion but that is his prerogative. He will veer from intense charm, to tantrum, to cold, hard eyed sulk, all in order to get his own way. There is an underlying fear behind all this that can be helped by a lot of reassurance.

It is important to understand that the relationship between Cristiano and his mother will always be 'symbiotic'. In other words the way Cristiano's Mother behaves towards her child and the way Cristiano perceives his mother is so inextricably linked that it is hard to separate the one from the other. Does Cristiano's mother react to Cristiano or does Cristiano react to his mother? This is perhaps the original chicken and egg question, and in this section we shall try to address this issue.

Cristiano is a loving and joyous child. Both he and his mother have a lot of fun together and she probably considers him to be an utterly delightful child. Cristiano is a warm and open child who loves to show off - and be shown off - and likes nothing more than to be told how wonderful he is.
The more he is praised, the greater a delight he is. He looks up to his parents and is particularly proud of his mother, just as she is of him. Cristiano will have a special place in his mother's heart and she will also enjoy all his dramatic way of behaving.

The relationship between Cristiano and his mother will never be all that it seems. Cristiano has many hidden sides to his nature that are not easy to reach or understand. At the same time, his mother has her own dark corners that leave much unspoken between them.
This is an extremely intense relationship and one that has almost mythological overtones. If both Cristiano and his mother can put to one side their fears and consequent desire to manipulate each other, there is every chance they will have a deeply loving relationship.

From a very early age - maybe even before he is weaned - Cristiano will have an air of dignity and reserve about him. He may appear rather shy and withdrawn as a child, and hold himself aloof from the rough and tumble of the school playground.
As a student, he is likely to apply himself well to his studies, particularly those that he believes will be of benefit to him in the future. Gaining qualifications and certificates of proficiency will help to increase his self-confidence, and his patient nature will be undaunted by the prospect of having to complete a lengthy period of training or an apprenticeship before he is able to make his way in the world. He is by nature a 'plodder': a tortoise rather than a Hare, and "slow and steady" is his motto.
Intensely loyal and dependable himself, he will be very selective in his choice of friends, and the friendships he makes will be strong and long lasting. In his circle of friends he is likely to be valued for his intelligent conversation and informed opinions - to say nothing of his dry and sometimes mordant comedic sense!
However, there is one area to which his sense of fun does not extend, and that is himself. Cristiano cannot take a joke against himself, nor can he cope with embarrassment, humiliation, or being made to look foolish in any way. Clumsy practical jokes and teasing will hurt him and, ultimately, make him withdraw.
It would be easy - but quite wrong - to interpret his conservative and dignified manner as coldness. This pokerfaced exterior is adopted as a self-protective layer, for Cristiano finds it impossible to show weakness of any kind, or even admit it to himself.
Those who manage to break through his 'cast-iron' exterior will find a proud, ambitious and perhaps somewhat surprisingly sensual person. He will have a tremendous appetite for the good things in life, and will be perfectly prepared to work hard for them. He has a strong need for security, so money will be important to him and he is the sort of person who will always have something put by 'for a rainy day'.
However, what will be of even more importance to Cristiano, is something that money cannot buy: respect and status. It is this fundamental need for 'position', which will fuel Cristiano in his climb upwards.
The second half of life is always more comfortable for those with a Capricorn Ascendant.
The restrictive and burdensome effects of Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, and therefore the ruler of Cristiano's chart, begin to ease up considerably after the first thirty years or so, and the discipline and restraint of his youth will work to his advantage in maturity. It's true to say that, for Cristiano, life really does begin at 40!

Generally, the first word uttered by most children when they learn to speak is "Mama". This is not likely to be the case with Cristiano, who has Mercury, the planet that rules communication, in the first house of his birth chart.
"Why?" is the word you will be accustomed to hearing every minute of the day.
A curious and inquisitive child, Cristiano will grow into a quick-witted and intelligent adult with an enquiring and intellectual view of life. Self-reliant, he is not one to meet life's problems with an emotional response (or a flood of tears), but will tackle them with a combination of reason and logic.
